As someone commented elsewhere it is in fact a kind of backhanded compliment: My writing, and delivery, clearly convinced her. Don't share your work with that pratess, whoever she be.<br /><br />You are allowed to write from the point of view of a misogynist, a rapist, a monk, a rabbit, a sideboard or a raspberry yogurt pot. <br /><br />She may not have liked the piece of work, that's fine, and her prerogative. But the rest is shallow, crackers thinking and she ought to be booted out of the group, or at least, made to do penance.<br /><br />Like having to write ten short stories from the point of view of a bigoted female.
